This collection is based around two things that had a great impact on my family in the year prior (aside from Covid) - the birth of our baby daughter, and my introduction to crypto and NFTs.
Why Milk Monitor? When I was a child at school in England, the teacher would give out small bottles of milk at break time. The child that helped the teacher was called the 'Milk Monitor'. My wife and I have now both become Milk Monitors for our own child!
This collection is a time capsule for the joy, stresses, anxieties and fun we’ve had over the last few months. I liked the idea of turning a common baby bottle into something rare and valuable, like a Fabergé egg. I’ve also found great pleasure in finding the crossover terms for baby related things and crypto. I’m a dad now, so I can officially do dad jokes!
